Saved search results from PEDro can be imported into EndNote as a RIS file (a standardised tag format file developed by Research Information Systems). This system replaced the PEDro EndNote filter in September 2011.
Instructions for importing PEDro search results into EndNote
- Perform a PEDro search
- Select the relevant records
- Display the selected records
- Save the selected records by either:
A. Click the “Save results” link to save an RIS file to your computer, or
B. Email the selected search results to yourself then save the email message as a text file (for Mac users – copy and paste the email message into Microsoft Word and save as a plain text file with “insert line breaks” in the file conversion box)
- Import the saved text file into EndNote using the “Reference Manager (RIS)” import option in EndNote
This video tutorial demonstrates how to select records, save records and import saved records into EndNote.
